Beautiful drink on Valentine's Day! Good fruit and minimal sourness.

Fruits show well as it warms. First pour clear red hued color while later pour more cloudy and brownish from yeast. Peaches more prominent on nose. Both fruits subtle on taste. Really aged well.

So rich and wonderful. Coffee and chocolate notes with perfect booziness backing it up. Need to start collecting these.

A bit over the hill, still enjoyed.

Extreme sour with Apricot well represented.

Very dark brown, small brown head, ring of retention. Nose leads with wood, follows with bourbon, light roasted malt. Taste big on bourbon, boozy, great backdrop of base stout chocolate. Lighter body and light carbonation.

No gusher this time. Great balance of tart and funk. Mild hop presence.

Simply amazing. Gusher. Everything else is perfect. Great flavors with small oxidation.

Enjoyed at Blast n Cast. Drinking incredibly well. Nose is perfect, very minor oxidation on taste. Great molasses booziness. Finish is slightly flawed.

Enjoyed in pool. Loved it.

Falling in flavor with some improvement with air time.

HCBS #21 12 year vertical. Worst of show, boozy.

After some air it drank amazingly. Big body, very minor difference from new. Boozy and delicious.

Enjoyed at HCBS #17 before a 2022. Wow, this one continues to hold up great! Was the favorite of the two hands-down. Bigger body and more complex.

A bit disappointed on this one. Heavy mold on the cap but no infiltration on seal. Good flavor up front but finish not as good as others in this year.

Somerset dove camp. Great with some signs of oxidation.

At Gulpha Gorge campground fireside. Simply wonderful as usual.

A bit medicinal, hot, boozy. Very good but not the best bottle in this vintage.

Another great bottle. I have to search for oxidation. Tremendous!

Gusher. A bit extra on the barn notes, loved it with my girl poolside.

Drinking well. Seems a bit more bitter.

Drinking very good, moderate sour, no roughness or soapiness.

Enjoyed at HCBD #29. Tannat barrel edition. Excellent balance and barrel flavors. Not too sour.

Aging well. Really enjoying the balanced sour and Brett. Looking forward to more.

Carbonation low but present, dark copper, clear. Nose with touch of butterscotch. Taste melds the honey ,wood, whiskey. Love this ale.

Pours black, brown head, some lacing. Nose light roasted malt, vanilla, dog biscuit. Taste creamy coffee, chocolate, cocoa nibs, slight anise, mildly bitter finish. Big body with higher than expected carbonation. Much more of an experience than expected.

Similar to last bottle. Black pour, minimal foam, no retention or lacing. Has dropped off but very good. I the world of big, barrel aged stouts this one is more tame, especially on the nose. Taste of roasted malt, molasses, very light on wood and bourbon. Above average body and low carbonation. Only a little sorry to drink my last one.

Still, golden, no lacing. Nose of grapefruit rind, vinous, slight funk. Taste very much like IPA without bitterness, citrus, white grape, finish a bit off.

Cork perfect, amber-copper color, small white head, minimal lacing. Nose light funk, barnyard, grapefruit. Taste very complex, sourness seems to be both acetic and lactic, leaning on lactic, apple, grapefruit, mild bitterness, leather, earthy, dry finish.

HCBS #13 beer. Loved by all at 10 years. Smokey, peaty scotch coming through as an excellent compliment to the ale.
