Not sure this beer ever was great. Hard to tell now. Near still, barrel notes present, but the finish has something off, maybe oxidation.

Super sour. Notes of cinnamon along with acetic sour. Nails the style to the extreme.

Translucent purple color, near still, no head. Funky nose blends blueberry fruit and mild cheese. Taste has that bit of funky cheese characteristic with great depths of fruit notes in addition to blueberry, such as plum. Rather dry and lacking carbonation.

Held up very well. Balanced spice and a bit of barrel.

Not much hiss on the pop. Slight head on coppery red ale. Lots of wine on nose, cherries. Taste leading with cherries and very sour with acetic, funky notes and a bit of a sweet finish. Mild carbonation stingy with the sour on a medium body. Held up incredibility well.

Dec 12 special and excellent. Amazing after 9 years. Trying to find flaws and not happening.

8 years old and outstanding. The bubbles on pour fully present and active. Nose has all the wonderful westy notes. Taste full with minimal oxidation. Very impressed.

Merry Christmas on Lake Texoma! Hiss on open but no head, near still, brown. Nose having a caramel accent. Taste is divine as fresh.

Great, no noticable oxidation. Still boozy.

At Komie's for the 4th. Well liked by all, caramel, wood, boozy.

Almost no foam on pour. Outstanding flavors.

No gusher this time. Great balance of tart and funk. Mild hop presence.

Poolside enjoyment

Similar to recent May tasting. No issues, great taste and looks.

Big pillow head, golden approaching amber color. Musty nose, barnyard, mineral. Taste includes a but of grass, lactic, bitter, and malt brings some decent body.

The end of an era. Not great, drank the whole thing. Way past its prime.

Over the hill but drinkable. Surprisingly drinkable.

Enjoyed as opening beer at HCBS #23. Ivan bottle. Good grape flavor made it seem to be wine barrel aged.

2 years old and very good. Grape notes very present. Rosemary has dropped significantly. Overall excellent balance of tartness and flavors.

Enjoyed at Blast n Cast. Drinking incredibly well. Nose is perfect, very minor oxidation on taste. Great molasses booziness. Finish is slightly flawed.

Enjoyed at HCBS #17 before a 2022. Wow, this one continues to hold up great! Was the favorite of the two hands-down. Bigger body and more complex.

A bit disappointed on this one. Heavy mold on the cap but no infiltration on seal. Good flavor up front but finish not as good as others in this year.

A bit medicinal, hot, boozy. Very good but not the best bottle in this vintage.

Another great bottle. I have to search for oxidation. Tremendous!

Doing great

No big surprises here. A dark pour with thinner beige head. Nose mix of light funk and roasted malt. Taste is Brett forward, slight lactic, rich malt background. Body is a little above average and low for stout. Minimal carbonation.

Enjoyed at HCBS #31. Chris S went nuts, one of his all-time must try beers., It was excellent.

Gift to John McIntosh at PJ's house.

Great as expected. Sugars mellowing a bit. Notes of vanilla and possibly licorice.

Shared at Memorial Day party. Loved by all.
