Noticeably thick on the pour, black, decent tan head and some retention and lacing. Nose full of chocolate with wood back. Taste blends vanilla and molasses. Tequila a bit hidden followed by cacao. Big body and light carbonation with satisfying bitter finish.

Blend #1. Deep hazy brown, still. Nose of sour funk, some wood. Taste brings forward the honey, not very sweet but caramel is noted, funky sourness hiding whisky notes. No alcohol burn or booziness. Well above average feel and no carbonation. Hope they make a Blend 2 that is not still and shows whisky.

Had another but forgot to record it. What can you say? 12 year old Porter that did not totally suck. Decent looks, some head and lacing. Nose a bit off, oxidation affecting it and taste. Glad to try and glad it's gone.
