Really enjoyed sharing this while playing Hitster with Deanne, Natalie, and Hannah over Christmas in Fairfield Glade.

Actually pretty impressed with this beer. Not syrupy sweet. Plenty of spice flavor with a nice backbone. If it had a bit more mid-range flavor and heft it would be unstoppable. Still, very nice.

Another banger from Prairie Artisan Ales. Seriously complex and delightfully boozy without overdoing it. This is an instant buy the next time I see it.

Just a very nice seasonal beer. Sightly sweet and fruity with a nice malt. One of those you just have to pick up each year when it comes out.

Maybe not quite as sweet as I remember, but still a bit too sweet for me. I do get some decent complexity though.

A nice barleywine, but certainly not the best I've had. It was quite sweet, actually. Nice whiskey/bourbon character, but a bit overly shrouded in sweetness. I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't seek it out again.

Very solid, for sure. I guess I was hoping for jaw-dropping, and it's not quite that. I'd buy it again though.

What the hell is this sorcery? So delicious! Obvious bitterness and piney hop notes with a malty backbone reminiscent of a barleywine. Yum!

Held up very nicely with a little age. I love the base of this beer very much, and the balance is really excellent. I'm just not sure that the flavor profile is my favorite. Solid beer though.
