Drank 12 oz of Deth's Tar by Revolution Brewing LLC | September 1st, 2024 |
2024-09-01 Shared at the fantasy draft.
2024-05-28 A damn fine beer. Boozy AF, rich, plenty of coffee and chocolate. I'd prefer it just a hair less sweet, but who's complaining?!
Drank 16 oz of Wandering into the Waves by Abomination Brewing | August 15th, 2024 |

2024-08-15 Shared with Deanne on the deck.
2024-06-28 Interesting. Very familiar with Calamansi flavors, but I actually didn't get that much of it in this. General citrus, yes. Some interesting pithy bitterness. Glad I got to try it.
Drank 500 ml of Mocha Rhino Suit by Alesong (2020-10) | August 14th, 2024 |
2024-08-14 Delicious. Not too sweet, plenty of dark chocolate and coffee flavors. Yum! Shared with Deanne on the deck.
Drank 16 oz of Queen Bee by Bearded Iris Brewing (2024) | August 13th, 2024 |
2024-09-11 Enjoyed for courage before my French class.
2024-08-13 Shared on the deck with Deanne.
2024-07-31 Shared with Deanne. Very decent, but not exceptional. Slight honey flavor, but I didn't love the hop profile. A little hop burn, too.
Drank 12 oz of Straight Jacket by Revolution Brewing LLC | August 10th, 2024 |
2024-10-29 Enjoyed during my French class. Yum!
2024-08-10 Maybe not quite as sweet as I remember, but still a bit too sweet for me. I do get some decent complexity though.
2024-06-20 A nice barleywine, but certainly not the best I've had. It was quite sweet, actually. Nice whiskey/bourbon character, but a bit overly shrouded in sweetness. I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't seek it out again.
Drank 12 oz of Willett Bourbon Barrel Aged Gonzo by Flying Dog Brewery | August 7th, 2024 |
2024-08-07 Boozy AF. The underlying porter is fine, but seems pretty standard. Not a bad beer at all, but not exceptional in my opinion. Shared with Deanne watching the Olympics.

Drank 16 oz of Bourbon County Brand Special #4 Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. | July 10th, 2024 |
2024-07-10 Still pretty tasty. Tons of coffee with subtle maple sweetness.
2024-01-04 Maybe I let this one age too long, or maybe I've just had too many other very fine stouts. I liked it, but wasn't blown away by any means. Coffee for sure and some maple sweetness. The thickness you expect from BCBS

Drank 16 oz of Bourbon County Brand Mon Chéri Stout (2019) by Goose Island Beer Co. | June 26th, 2024 |
2024-06-26 Last of these. Shared with Deanne and Natalie on the deck. A really great BCBS variant.
2023-11-16 Subtle cherry, even after aging for 4 years. Thick, rich, boozy - everything I love about Bourbon County stouts. The granola aspect is lovely. Kind of an earthy, slightly sweet flavor that's not like the sweeter backbone of the stout as a whole. Yum!
Drank 16 oz of Cream of Broccoli by Other Half Brewing Co. (2024-02-05) | June 21st, 2024 |
2024-06-21 Shared with Deanne over dinner with Lynn and Kathy at Drexel Hill pizza. Yum!!

Drank 16 oz of Green Crowns by Other Half Brewing Co. (2024-03-01) | June 16th, 2024 |
2024-06-16 Last of these, but still enjoyed it. Surprised that I like a West Coast this much.
2024-04-23 A relatively uncommon West Coast IPA from Other Half - a brewery much better known for their hazies. I found this to be pretty sweet for a WC, with some nice fruitiness balanced with a bit of bitterness and pine. I'm not typically a WC fan, but liked it.
Drank 12 oz of Black Chocolate Stout by Brooklyn Brewery | June 14th, 2024 |
2024-06-14 Had this over dinner with Deanne, Natalie, Lynn, and Kathy.
2024-03-31 Always delicious! |
