Drank 22 oz of Devil's Teeth Aged in Bourbon Barrels with BA Coffee by Modern Times | March 14th, 2018 |
2018-03-14 Bottle pour to snifter, black, moderate beige head with little retention, minimal lacing. Bourbon and wood on the nose, vanilla, light coffee. Taste is a little too heavy on the wood, a bit too tannic, coffee is very prominent, bourbon is in the background. Molasses, vanilla, some chocolate also play on a medium heavy body that is a bit thinner that expected but silky. Finish is coffee/hop bitter. Carbonation is light.
Drank 22 oz of Symzonia by Omnipollo | March 13th, 2018 |
Drank 750 ml of Grim Harvest by Jester King Craft Brewery (2016-08-12) | March 12th, 2018 |
Drank 16 oz of Early Bird Breakfast by Cameron's Brewing (2017) | February 23rd, 2018 |
2018-02-23 Pour from can to snifter, deep reddish brown color, beige head that does not retain, little lacing. Nose has coffee, malt. Taste is following the nose with more malt presence, sweet, creamy. Heavy body and below average carbonation.

2018-02-21 2014 (02 08 series) 22oz bottle poured to snifter, near black, thick brown head, very good retention, minor lacing. Base malt nose. Taste shows roasted malt, chocolate, some vanilla, signs of oxidation as expected. Silky feel with heavy body and average carbonation. |
