Similar to last bottle. Black pour, minimal foam, no retention or lacing. Has dropped off but very good. I the world of big, barrel aged stouts this one is more tame, especially on the nose. Taste of roasted malt, molasses, very light on wood and bourbon. Above average body and low carbonation. Only a little sorry to drink my last one.

8 years old and fantastic! Pours clear golden with some head but near still, no lacing. Nose mildly funky, melon, and citrus. Taste a bit of spice, pepper, coriander, sweet lime, mild sour and farmhouse finish. Medium body.
