Doing very well. Good coffee notes, good finish.
2021-05-18
Still big on coffee. Drier than I recall. Excellent.
2020-01-20
Coffee prominent. Barrel wood but not not much bourbon. Great overall.

Very good. Dove camp.
2017-12-04
Cherry still coming through and quite enjoyable. A bit more tart since release.
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Barleywine by Goose Island Beer Co. (2013)December 4th, 2017
2020-03-20
Surprisingly perfect like last time. Shocked at how this ale is aging with great body, slightly diminished nose. Taste is a boozy caramel with chocolate and coffee notes.
2017-12-04
Aging incredibly well. Continues to be my favorite barleywine.
Drank 22 oz of The Abyss by Deschutes Brewery (2013)December 4th, 2017

2021-07-15
Seems to be making a comeback. Finish is off but not terribly. Good roasty and cocoa notes. Enjoyable.
2020-09-02
Super happy with this bottle. Roasty malt, great color, no flaws. Even the finish is clean. Great mouthfell. Might be drier than originally.
2019-07-24
Holding up but the end is coming
2019-05-07

2017-12-04
Now sure these have much longer to go. Very drinkable but getting some aftertaste issues.

Drank 330 ml of Cuvee Delphine by De Struise Brouwers (2012)December 4th, 2017
2017-12-04
Vintage 2012 330mL bottle poured 12/4/17 to tulip, black, viscous, big brown head, no lacing. Nose a bit flat, some wood. Taste is not flat. Bourbon, coffee, chocolate, vanilla meld on a big body roasty malt base. Some booziness and a slightly bitter finish.
Drank 12 oz of Divine Reserve 15 by Saint Arnold Brewing Company (2015-01-13)December 3rd, 2017
2022-05-05

Really good. Robust smoked malt, anise flavors. Great body.
Drank 12 oz of Double Stout by Green Flash Brewing Co. (2012)December 3rd, 2017
2017-12-03
Black pour to snifter, big beige head, good retention, some lacing. Nose of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste on this 2012 bottle is showing some signs of oxidation but overall has held up well. Roasty malt notes are a bit muted, and the finish light chocolate. Above average body and average carbonation.

2020-05-06
Simply amazing. Gusher. Everything else is perfect. Great flavors with small oxidation.
