With tacos. A straightforward golden, nice bit of tang (from the tequila), went well with dinner. Enjoyable.

Weird but not bad. Not much sourness or tartness, but some interesting fruit flavor, quite muted.
Drank 750 ml of Wise Guise by The Rare Barrel (2015-01-13)April 8th, 2016
2017-11-05
The red base here blends nicely with the raspberries, a fairly sweet and drinkable beer.
2016-04-08
Big wine notes, a bit of fruit, good deal of raisin. Not bad but not their best.
Drank 750 ml of Tigerlily by The Rare Barrel (2014-12-22)April 7th, 2016
2016-04-07
Had just a taste, lots of ginger, still not really my thing but Cami digs it.
Drank 750 ml of Home, Sour Home by The Rare Barrel (2015-04-15)April 7th, 2016
2017-11-05
This beer has held up! Might even be a little better than fresh given the spices have faded. A huge hit among everyone tonight.
2016-04-07
Delicious! Still a solid amount of cinnamon, especially after it warmed up.
Drank 750 ml of Map of the Sun by The Rare Barrel (2015-09-01)April 1st, 2016
2019-11-07
Tasting great! Still a lot of fruit up front and a lot of apricot astringency on the back end, but really mellow and drinkable overall.
2017-11-05
Delicious as always, nicely balanced, nice astringency. Was great to try this between Map of the Moon and Keen Observation.
2016-04-01
Awesome tang and sourness, still a good deal of apricot, and really mellows as it warms. Great beer.
Drank 750 ml of Forces Unseen by The Rare Barrel (2015-01-29)March 26th, 2016
2017-11-05
Distinct from the '14, perhaps a little sharper but still maintaining that lovely sweet and complex profile. Dug it.
2016-03-26
Tasting great! Delicious natural sweetness, perfect sour balance with the underlying golden. Dig it.
Drank 750 ml of Sour in the Rye with Kumquats by The Bruery (2013-04-25)February 27th, 2016
2016-02-27
Tasting a lot like a Night Shift beer, not at all like last remembered, mellow, a teensy bit of nail polish remover, still some lovely fruitiness, and generally delicious.
2013-09-27
Such an amazing nose and an awesome sour; great mix of tart and fruit. The Bruery at its best.
2013-07-19
Nice addition! Fruits adds to the nose and mellows out the front end, which leads nicely into a puckering finish. Quite good.
Drank 750 ml of Becoming by The Rare Barrel (2015-05-06)January 24th, 2016
2021-07-04
Coming off the Upland this was quite mellow. Fruit mild but noticeable, all around easy sipper.
2017-11-05
Still a ton of fruit in this one, and a favorite of many who tried it. Super balanced, just the right amount of sweet and sour.
2016-01-24
Still lots of fruit, kind of low carb which helps bring it out, great color, nice balanced tartness to boot. Was great with roast pork!
Drank 750 ml of Black Tuesday by The Bruery (2013-09-13)January 9th, 2016
2017-04-30
Still pretty hot, surprisingly, but has held up well. A hell of a big first sip.
2016-12-25
Marshall drank this one in San Diego.
2016-01-09
Big, boozy, that same BT that we know and love. Great to share with a big group.
2013-11-30
Huge and in your face with the bourbon, the barrel, and lots of malty coffee and roasted chocolate flavors. A slow sipper with a lite heat, and delicious. Lives up to the reputation.
