Near still. Deep reddish brown color, small head had no retention. Nose carries sherry, wine, wood. Taste has balanced sweetness, acetic sour, wood, vinous. Oxidation minimal. Quite good.

Sunset at Beard's Bluff. Carrying wood on nose and taste. Sour. Deep red, brown.

Enjoyed at Acopon for Founders Day bottle share. Drinking as well as to be expected. Finish a little off but still good.

First notes of vanilla. Taste: barrel back, coconut, orange peel, chocolate, boozy.

Surprisingly good for nearly 5 yrs old. Body a bit thin. Heavy wood notes and slight bourbon. A little aftertaste issue.

I remember having this on draught when this beer released and thinking it had very little bourbon, and nothing has changed. Some wood on it, though. Pours black with small ring of bubbles at edge remaining. Nose has wood, chocolate, some roasty notes. Taste pleasing with hint of oxidation at this point. Feel is heavy.

Lees of a nose than #1, thinner body. Some coke/oxidation taste. Had better days.

At six years this is still boozy and enjoyably hot. Poured to sifter, near black, a finger of tan head with ring of retention, minor lacing. Nose a sweet blend of bourbon, oak and molasses. Taste brings forward vanilla, molasses, along with the heat. Medium heavy body.

Enjoyed at HCBS #31. Chris S went nuts, one of his all-time must try beers., It was excellent.

Great as expected. Sugars mellowing a bit. Notes of vanilla and possibly licorice.
