2021-03-11 Thin body but tasty stout. Nose full of bourbon, wood, and chocolate. Taste boozy, powder cocoa, sweet malts. Body could be fuller, still very enjoyable.
2020-02-27 Seems to be a smoked malt. A bit oxidized but still good in general. A little mysterious.
Drank 500 ml of Pineapple Thai Basil Petite Golden Sour by The Collective Brewing Project (2017) | March 11th, 2021 |
2021-03-11 Clear light yellow, not much carbonation, so minimal head, no lacing. Basil dominates the nose in a good way, hard to pick up the base funk. Taste balances the pineapple with the basil. The additions must been significant. Glad to had this one chance to drink this ale.
Drank 500 ml of Flanders Fields by Vista Brewing (2020-12) | March 10th, 2021 |

2021-03-07 Very dark brown, small brown head, ring of retention. Nose leads with wood, follows with bourbon, light roasted malt. Taste big on bourbon, boozy, great backdrop of base stout chocolate. Lighter body and light carbonation.
