2020-06-05 Very American in execution. I don't even want 12 ounces. It's fine that this exists but it's just not where I am anymore. At 18-ish % it's "relatively" balanced. Beer has come a long way and there are many excellent stouts with as much flavor at half the ABV. | |

2020-05-15 One of the best values in beer with 6 16 oz cans selling for $13. Intensely hoppy. Aroma is lilacs. Tastes sweeter than my preference but not from malt imbalance. A nice position between the New England and the West Coast styles. My biggest complaint is that 8.5% is more than I want for the serving size, 7-7.5 would be much appreciated. | |
