Drank 12 oz of Head Hunter by Fat Head's Brewery & Saloon (2020-06-17)July 22nd, 2020

The first can of this four was disappointing, for some reason, the rest were much better. I still didn't get the pineapple I seem to remember, but pretty good. Overall, it just doesn't hit any particular thing strongly enough for me.

Disappointed by this one, tastes almost nothing like my memory or my notes. It's only 30 days old, I would have guessed 4+ months. Maybe improperly handled? Hot truck/warehouse? It's "OK", tastes good to drink. Has some nice grapefruit bitterness but has lost all potent hop qualities and some malt sweetness is coming through. Still a winner in my mind based on what I know it can be, this isn't it.

Drank 750 ml of Gueuze Cuvée René by Brouwerij Lindemans (2015-02-10)July 16th, 2020

It was good. I could have drunk the whole bottle by myself. Not too astringent, excessively effervescent, refreshing. However, also not particularly delicate or nuanced. Felt straightforward, and this is easily accessible, though I saved mine for a few years. It's good.
Drank 330 ml of McEwan's Scotch Ale by Charles Wells Ltd.July 15th, 2020

Slightly out of code but good. Has a nice Scotty Karate bite to it, a little Old Chub dirtyness, avoiding Dirty Bastard territory. And at 8% hits a spot I expect from a 10%er.

Drank 16 oz of Ninja vs Unicorn by Pipeworks Brewing Company (2020-06-16)July 9th, 2020
2020-07-09
The dry hopped this a lot more than previous batches, not entirely for the better. Still easy to drink a whole pint and I always prefer the 8% over the 8.5%.
Drank 12 oz of Flywheel Pilsner Bier by Metropolitan Brewing (2020-04-10)July 8th, 2020
2020-07-08
Has a nice bite, more agressive than Two Women but in the same vein. I prefer the Czech pilseners but this is a great instance of the German style. Met life, baby!
2020-07-06
Has a strong earthy hoppiness for a pilsner. Very satisfying. I still prefer the lighter Czech style.
