Has a nice bite, more agressive than Two Women but in the same vein. I prefer the Czech pilseners but this is a great instance of the German style. Met life, baby!

Has a strong earthy hoppiness for a pilsner. Very satisfying. I still prefer the lighter Czech style.

Slightly out of code but good. Has a nice Scotty Karate bite to it, a little Old Chub dirtyness, avoiding Dirty Bastard territory. And at 8% hits a spot I expect from a 10%er.

Fantastic. Creme brulee in spades. Vanilla and burnt caramel in the nose. More bitterness in the swallow, which keeps it from being cloying. For 14.5% I can drink a lot of this, surprisingly dry. Killer. My favorite barrel treatment for this series.

Wow. This was fantastic. I was hesitant because it's wheat whiskey but so well balanced and integrated. I don't regret buying two. Very potent. Huge barrel character, and you can smell the whiskey but it drinks so smooth. No worries about taking an hour or two to finish, drinks just as well at room temperature.

A bit too much. Only open this when you're ready and desirous of true decadence. Drips barrel, almost a licorice sweetness, rich. Could do with more bitterness and roast.

Blows me away, every time. The wrong food pairing can wreck this beer, though. First glass was amazing. After a salad with vinegar mustard dressing, all I could taste was the apples and a little cherry tart and cranberry sour.
