Drank 750 ml of Mrs. Stoutfire by The Bruery (2013-02-15)July 11th, 2014
2014-07-11
Still tasty, much better than Smoking Wood, the smokiness is subdued but present, nice malt and stout characteristics.
2013-08-04
Still a nice smokiness, tastes like barbecue, I like it.
2013-04-26
Super smokey! Barbecue on the finish, quite good, will get more for Cami.
Drank 12 oz of Farmer's Reserve Citrus by Almanac Beer Co. (2014)July 11th, 2014
2015-11-07
Fruit pretty much done, just tasted like a straightforward Almanac sour, so so.
2014-07-11
Tons of citrus, like orange juice in some ways, very tasty!
Drank 375 ml of Lil' Opal by Firestone Walker Brewing Co. (2014)July 1st, 2014
2017-08-19
Had a tiny taste; was great, love the mellowness.
2014-07-01
Not bad! Pretty straightforward, nice brett character with a little sweetness and some grain. Tasty.
Drank 750 ml of Cerasus by Logsdon Farmhouse Ales (2013)June 29th, 2014
2014-06-29
Fruit has fallen off a bit, but not bad, though not great either.
2013-04-16
Mild nose, decent amount of cherry initially and then some vinous flavors on the finish. Pretty good, very well balanced for a kriek, sort of straddling the Flanders and Kriek styles.
Drank 22 oz of La Folie by New Belgium Brewing (2014)June 29th, 2014
2014-06-29
Delicious, glad this beer continues to deliver.
Drank 750 ml of Rue d'Floyd by The Bruery (2014-03-13)June 27th, 2014
2017-04-27
Dumped; soured as expected
2014-06-27
Feeling like the finish is maybe hinting at signs of turning, but still a damn delicious beer. Should drink the final one soon.
2014-04-26
Absolutely amazingly delicious, a perfect mix of chocolate, vanilla, porter, and coffee flavors. This beer screams "dessert!" in the best possible way. Will have to order some more despite the aging dangers.
Drank 750 ml of Griffon Bruxellois by The Bruery (2012-09-14)June 27th, 2014
2014-06-27
Still flat but quite delicious, great pucker and still a lot of cherry. Really tasty.
Drank 500 ml of Fifteenth Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA Aged in Lowland Scotch Barrels (Quingenti Millilitre Series) by Stone Brewing (2012)June 27th, 2014
2014-06-27
Great malt character with a lot of barrel, very little booze, mellow and drinkable with a touch of smoke.
Drank 375 ml of Agave Maria by The Lost Abbey (2014)June 27th, 2014
2014-06-27
Really weird and not good nose, but the taste is actually pretty good, with the agave up front and some mild tequila and barrel on the finish.
Drank 375 ml of Supplication by Russian River Brewing Company (2012-08-27)June 27th, 2014
2014-06-27
Delicious as always, still a lot of fruit, perfectly carbed, and definitely a bit more pucker than when fresh.
Drank 650 ml of Cherry Rye Bourbon County Brand Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2012-11-12)June 16th, 2014
2014-06-16
Pretty good! I think I'm still more a fan of regular and coffee BCBS, but the cherry here is well done, and it got better as it warmed, too.
Drank 750 ml of Fantastic Voyage by Perennial Artisan Ales (2013-04)June 16th, 2014
2014-06-16
Alas, this one apparently went bad, a bit of a rancid aftertaste on the finish. Must have ben infected?
Drank 500 ml of Framinghammer Baltic Porter - Bourbon Barrel Aged With Vanilla Beans by Jack's Abby (2014)June 16th, 2014
2014-06-16
Really delicious, smooth, light (in a good way) on the vanilla, and a bit of heat on the finish. Love it.
Drank 650 ml of Imperial Russian Stout by Stone Brewing (2012)June 13th, 2014
2014-09-21
Tasty, age brings out some of the raisin characteristics, overall mellow and drinkable.
2014-06-13
Still delicious, has held up really well, glad to have one more of these to drink, and should probably bring it up soon-ish.
2013-10-29
Still a good roast on the nose, a teensy bit of bite, and great ashen chocolate and sweet malt characteristics. This thing is pretty nice after a year.
2013-09-29
Quite tasty!
2013-01-14
Brownie in the nose, fun! Sweet and a little smoke, slight bitter on the finish. Tasty.
Drank 750 ml of Home, Sour Home by The Rare Barrel (2013-12-24)June 10th, 2014
2025-06-27
Still amazing! Mellow, some spice, lovely vanilla.
2014-06-10
Really does capture a peach cobbler; delicious beer, got better as it warmed up too.
