Camping at lake wright patman in Texarcana. Boozy with lighter body, excellent. Coffee still showing, and just fantastic.

Need to really let this one warm. Thick and chocolatey with coffee well integrated. Big head that forms slowly if poured hard.

Great slightly translucent red, light carbonation. Nose light blend of cherry and funk. Taste of cherry is tart with more sour from lactic, very dry. Balanced fruit and funk.

After some air it drank amazingly. Big body, very minor difference from new. Boozy and delicious.

Enjoyed at HCBS #17 before a 2022. Wow, this one continues to hold up great! Was the favorite of the two hands-down. Bigger body and more complex.

A bit disappointed on this one. Heavy mold on the cap but no infiltration on seal. Good flavor up front but finish not as good as others in this year.

A bit medicinal, hot, boozy. Very good but not the best bottle in this vintage.

Another great bottle. I have to search for oxidation. Tremendous!

At HCBS meeting hosted by Todd. Alongside 2021. Muted peach, more champagne like, hint astringency.

8 years old and fantastic! Pours clear golden with some head but near still, no lacing. Nose mildly funky, melon, and citrus. Taste a bit of spice, pepper, coriander, sweet lime, mild sour and farmhouse finish. Medium body.

The end of an era. Bought these 15 years ago! This last bottle had a great chocolate note with near heavy moutfeel. Oxidation in check. Truly enjoyed. Not seen a a 7oz bottle in a very long time.

Poker at Jason's. Bad but not as horrible as the last one.

No good. Oxidation taken over. Not much hope.

A little more signs of oxidation. Still holding roasted malt flavors.

Shocked at this 10 year old stout. Not sure how, but oxidation is next to nothing. Rich, unique flavor layered on the roasted malt.

Black with small head. Nose has umami notes, charcoal grill in a good way. Taste more chocolatey and sweet, molasses, booze, fig, cocao powder. Big body and low carb. Held up for 7 years.

Looks like most BCBS, black, minimal head. Molasses and cola on the nose. Taste beckons to cola, boozy, coconut, chocolate. Big body and low carbonation.

Pours black with beige head, low retention and lacing. Sherry and wood on nose with slight vanilla. Taste rich chocolate, sherry, cherry, boozy. Huge mouth feel and mild carbonation. Fantastic!

Deep red color, not much head. Nose dominated by berry. Taste also very berry, raspberry and strawberry. Hides 12% very well.

Wide variety of flavors. Berries hit hard with backup by chocolate. Love it!
