Drank 650 ml of Black Butte XXIV by Deschutes Brewery (2012) | August 16th, 2013 |
2020-01-31 Soy sauce, band aid, raisins, and cardboard. Not great! Drain poured much of it.
2013-08-16 Honestly, not great. Some anise flavors don't help, not much roastiness or porter character.
Drank 750 ml of Batch #1000: Bryeian by The Bruery (2013-08-07) | August 16th, 2013 |
2013-08-14 Awesome nose, not an IPA but really strong hop presence, delicious.
Drank 750 ml of Das Wunderkind! Saison by Jester King Craft Brewery (2013) | August 16th, 2013 |
2013-08-16 Great tartness, love the tart/sweet balance, awesome beer.
2013-03-05 Light, medium funk, mild sweetness, crisp, some straw, quite delicious!
Drank 750 ml of 2007 Vintage Oak Aged Ale (Barrel No. 230) by Brouwerij Rodenbach (2007) | August 16th, 2013 |
2013-08-16 Has held up amazingly, fruit and oak in the nose, tons up sweetness up font, awesome balance with some milt tartness and must on the end. Awesome!
Drank 12 oz of Plead the 5th Imperial Stout by Dark Horse Brewing Co. (2013) | August 16th, 2013 |
2013-08-16 Good mix of sharpness and sweetness, booze noticeable but not overt, a damn good stout.
Drank 500 ml of Ur-Weisse by Brauerei Aying Franz Inselkammer KG (2013) | August 16th, 2013 |
Drank 650 ml of Toxic Revolution by Three Floyds Brewing (2013) | August 15th, 2013 |
2013-08-15 Really good! Lots of hoppiness, more like a porter than a stout, not quite a Black IPA like some reviewers were saying but definitely a more bitter balanced stout. Great, wish I had more.
Drank 750 ml of Saison by Funkwerks (2013) | August 15th, 2013 |
2013-08-15 A light, tasty Saison, not a lot of funk, more sweet and hay, very good.
Drank 500 ml of Bräu-Weisse by Brauerei Aying Franz Inselkammer KG (2013) | August 14th, 2013 |
Drank 750 ml of Oude Tart With Sour Cherries by The Bruery (2013-06-21) | August 14th, 2013 |
2021-07-09 Weird! Kind of a cough syrup thing at times, pretty sour, some occasional bright notes but overall not amazing.
2013-08-14 Tastes much like the normal version from what I remember. Cherries are pretty subdued, but there a bit. Quite a nice Flanders.
Drank 750 ml of Strawberry by Cascade Brewing (2013) | August 14th, 2013 |
2015-03-23 Too much bandaid and nail polish remover, despite a nice strawberry nose, and a bit medicinal. Alas, better fresh.
2013-08-14 Lots of strawberry in the nose, then a bit up front, and it subsides into puckering tartness with not much fruit. Not at all bad, but the Apricot and the Kriek are both better expressions of fruit beer.
Drank 750 ml of Batch #1000: Bryeian by The Bruery (2013-08-07) | August 14th, 2013 |
2013-08-14 Awesome nose, not an IPA but really strong hop presence, delicious.
Drank 750 ml of Bottleworks XII by The Bruery (2013-06-10) | August 13th, 2013 |
2014-08-16 This is still drinking so great. Surprisingly, still a lot of fruit going on, coupled with a perfect tartness and that wheat goodness backing it all up. Love this beer and sad I'm down to my last bottle.
2013-11-03 Fruit is falling out but still a delicious brew, perfectly balanced.
2013-08-31 Love this beer. Such a perfect mix of tartness, fruit, and wheat. Alcohol completely hidden. Get more perhaps? ;-)
2013-08-13 Absolutely delicious, tons of raspberry, really balanced sour and definite wheat in the nose. Love it, so glad to have more of this. Huzzah!
Drank 750 ml of Sorachi Ace by Brooklyn Brewery (2013) | August 12th, 2013 |
2013-08-12 Amazing fluffy head, great nose, super balanced and delicious on the palate, one of the best saisons I can recall. |
