Super smooth, lovely light little tart, and such a lot of fruit character. Ages really well, love this beer.

A little oxidized in the nose, but wow amazing on the palate, so much raisin and prune and fruit from the yeast alone. Very different than fresh but has held up really well.

Delicious! Dark, roasted notes, mild fruit. Not sure I'd call it best beer in world, but damn good.

Thin, interesting nose, “burned rubber” from others, some nice latent barrel character and has held up well, not too oxidized.

Tons of chocolate, mild coffee, nice not too thick mouthfeel, a little bit of heat on the finish. Still great.

Soy sauce, band aid, raisins, and cardboard. Not great! Drain poured much of it.

Honestly, not great. Some anise flavors don't help, not much roastiness or porter character.

This beer was awesome; possibly my favorite of the weekend, such a great take on an old ale with a Belgian twist.
