Drank 750 ml of Ensorcelled by The Rare Barrel (2014-02-17) | September 16th, 2022 |
2022-09-16 Tasting amazing, very little oxidation and a surprising amount of fruit. Not as tart as expected either.
2017-11-05 La Folie style dark sour backing, not too much fruit left though it's still there. Pretty good, though surprisingly not many people went for it tonight.
Drank 750 ml of For Ever More by The Rare Barrel (2017) | September 16th, 2022 |
2022-09-16 Cinnamon and vanilla still coming through but mellow enough not to be overpowering. An interesting dessert sour.
Drank 750 ml of Fields Forever by The Rare Barrel (2014-05-14) | June 3rd, 2022 |
2022-06-03 Very tart but not overwhelming for a Rare Barrel beer, and some strawberry character still in there! Crowd pleaser.
Drank 750 ml of Variations on a Theme by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2019) | May 29th, 2022 |
2022-05-29 Subtle, delicious.
Drank 750 ml of Sometimes Why by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2019) | May 29th, 2022 |
2022-05-29 Hops extremely mellow in an amazing way, super delicious.
Drank 750 ml of Orphanage by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2018) | May 13th, 2022 |
2023-04-21 Sweet, a little bit of funk but not much. Pretty solid but not terribly standout.
2022-05-13 Delicious! Mild sour, some light fruit notes (though don't think there's any actual fruit), tasty.
Drank California Hello by Dunloe Brewing (2021) | April 15th, 2022 |
2022-04-15 Tasty, solid coconut and noticeable acidity from pineapple, a very quaffable beer on a nice afternoon.
Drank 750 ml of Yeoman's Pride by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2018) | April 15th, 2022 |
2022-04-15 Delicious! Some nice funk and not too sweet coming off a newer Lucybelle.
Drank 22 oz of B-Bomb Winter Ale - Bourbon Barrel Aged by Fremont Brewing Company (2017) | December 10th, 2021 |
2021-12-10 Shared with neighbors. Straightforward but delicious, absolutely no booze (astounding given the 13% ABV), some mild chocolate and roast character. All around pleasant winter stout.
Drank 750 ml of Wondermutt by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2017) | November 12th, 2021 |
2021-11-12 Tasty! A little sweet, some pleasant grainy character.
Drank 16 oz of Bâtisserie Chocolate Covered Strawberries Stout by Energy City Brewing (2020) | October 3rd, 2021 |
2021-10-03 Very strawberry forward, and quite tasty! Hides the heat entirely, and really evokes a chocolate covered strawberry.
Drank 12 oz of Fred by Hair of the Dog Brewing Company (2012) | October 3rd, 2021 |
2021-10-03 The non-flat batch, tasting pretty good! Lots of carb, lots of caramel and breadiness.
2015-03-08 Batch 88, this was the flat one. Flat and, well, flat. Not a bad taste profile though. Too bad.
2014-08-06 Carbonated, so not one of the bad bottles Pablo and I ran into, a little tangier than Adam, a little more overt malt presence. Still a great beer, more hop forward, Adam still the winner but this is tasty.
2013-02-21 Hoppier than Adam, a bit like a barleywine but with amazing balance, no more sweetness than needed. Tasty. (Batch 87)
Drank 750 ml of Birdsong Platitudes by Sante Adairius Rustic Ales (2017) | October 3rd, 2021 |
2021-10-03 Quite tasty and not what I was expecting with the gin and wine barrel aging. Tasty, very dry, refreshing.
Drank 8 oz of Tepoztecatl by Saint Errant (2020) | September 26th, 2021 |
Drank 750 ml of Sucré - Bourbon by The Bruery (2014-02-26) | September 25th, 2021 |
2021-09-25 Honestly tastes like it's fresh off the shelf, still with a little heat, no oxidation, sweet with a little carb bite. Not bad but definitely best in small quantities. |
