TONS of oxidation in the nose, but it was far less present on the palate. Coffee was there, tho this beer is definitely better fresh.
2015-01-24
Delicious, with super intense coffee in the nose and on the palate, with some lovely residual sweetness, chocolate, and condensed milk going on.

Drank 750 ml of Abraxas by Perennial Artisan Ales (2014-11)January 23rd, 2015
2015-11-07
Amazing pepper on the nose, perfectly balanced on the tongue, an amazing stout with just the right amount of heat. Better fresher than aged at this point I think!
2015-01-23
Great! A lot less chocolate than Hunaphu, but a lot more chile on the back end, more of a cinnamon thing going on up front. Digging it.
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2013-11-15)January 23rd, 2015
2015-06-26
Still a surprising amount of coffee, and tasting great, thick, not too hot, and that great BCBS stout character. Still digging it.
2015-01-23
Tasting great, though as expected a bit muted on the coffee compared to drinking it fresh.
2014-12-24
Much sweeter than remembered, though not in a bad way, coffee definitely subdued but still present in the nose and on the backend, has some of that BCBW marshmellow I remember too. Tasting great.
2014-02-24
Still great, lots of coffee on the nose and on the palate, and so drinkable for the ABV, hardly any heat. A great blend.
2013-12-13
Sooo much coffee presence, delicious and up front, much better than the 2012 bottle opened a while back. Superb and not grounds-like, just a great blend, should drink another soon.
Drank 12 oz of Copper Head Ale by Fordham Brewing (2015)January 23rd, 2015
2015-01-23
Normal tasting copper ale, like a less good version of Censored.
Drank 375 ml of Framboise For A Cure by Russian River Brewing Company (2011)January 23rd, 2015
2015-01-23
Surprising amount of fruit in the nose, but none on the palate, a total sour bomb taste-wise. Still quite good but a doozy.
Drank 375 ml of Framboise For A Cure by Russian River Brewing Company (2014-09-04)January 23rd, 2015
2023-06-12
More body than the 2015 with a little less fruit, but definitely the better of the two.
2020-08-31
Not much fruit left but a very pleasantly tart and mellow framboise, with hints of sweetness coming through.
2015-06-26
Delicious as always, not too much raspberry left but still lots of citrus, and that perfect Russian River sour profile.
2015-03-05
Delicious, amazing color, great nose, lots of citrus and still a good bit of fruit there. Amazing beer.
2015-01-23
Still tasting amazing, plenty of fruit, best color of the batches tonight, if anything tasting a little more balanced now than it did fresh.
2014-11-16
Delicious, some lemon character, mild raspberry, great tang, a good start.

Drank 12 oz of Thumbprint Wild Sour Ale by New Glarus Brewing Company (2013)January 23rd, 2015

Really fun! Sour nose, and sour up front on the palate, then melds into a really great fruity, apple-like finish. Loved this one.
