Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2013-11-15)December 24th, 2014
2015-06-26
Still a surprising amount of coffee, and tasting great, thick, not too hot, and that great BCBS stout character. Still digging it.
2015-01-23
Tasting great, though as expected a bit muted on the coffee compared to drinking it fresh.
2014-12-24
Much sweeter than remembered, though not in a bad way, coffee definitely subdued but still present in the nose and on the backend, has some of that BCBW marshmellow I remember too. Tasting great.
2014-02-24
Still great, lots of coffee on the nose and on the palate, and so drinkable for the ABV, hardly any heat. A great blend.
2013-12-13
Sooo much coffee presence, delicious and up front, much better than the 2012 bottle opened a while back. Superb and not grounds-like, just a great blend, should drink another soon.

2014-12-23
Great! Lots of coffee, great nose, and even when cold tasting awesome. Even better as it warms up. Delicious.
Drank 500 ml of Old Rasputin XV Anniversary by North Coast Brewing Co. (2013)December 22nd, 2014
2014-12-22
Not so great, some raisin and definite oxidation and a bit too much barrel. Meh.
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Barleywine by Goose Island Beer Co. (2014-09-24)December 22nd, 2014
2021-09-03
Held up OK.
2015-11-07
"This barley wine is gnarly wine" says Evan. Big, thick, some booze heat but pleasantly so, and a reduced candy profile from what I last remember.
2014-12-22
Not as much magic as last year but still quite tasty, nice malt character without being too sweet.
Drank 12 oz of Framboise White by Block 15 Brewery & Restaurant (2012-10)December 21st, 2014
2014-12-21
Great! Mellow funk and solid malt backbone, dig it.
Drank 22 oz of Divine Reserve 13 by Saint Arnold Brewing Company (2013-02-22)December 21st, 2014
2014-12-21
Pretty mediocre, lots of candi sugar and otherwise pretty thin.
Drank 750 ml of Brise-BonBons! by Brasserie Fantôme (2013)December 21st, 2014
2014-12-21
A little less enjoyable than remembered but still great, lots of grass, some good funk, and a nice malt sweetness up front.
Drank 375 ml of Box Set Track 8 by The Lost Abbey (2013)December 21st, 2014
2014-12-21
Surprisingly tasty! Quite hot give the cinnamon and chilies, but super drinkable and a pleasant surprise.
Drank 12 oz of Expedition Stout by Bell's Brewery, Inc. (2014-09-18)December 16th, 2014
2014-12-16
Tasty! Straightforward but drinkable stout, got much better after it warmed up for 15 minutes too.
Drank 750 ml of Tart Of Darkness with Cherries & Vanilla by The Bruery (2014-08-14)December 14th, 2014
2014-12-14
Delicious, great vanilla notes up front and definite cherry on the finish, and oh so tart. Love this variant.
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2014-09-29)December 13th, 2014
2014-12-13
Delicious, amazing sweetness with little heat, a bit reminiscent of last year's barleywine. They've still got it.
Drank 750 ml of Ivan the Terrible Imperial Stout by Big Sky Brewing (2012)December 6th, 2014
2014-12-06
A very mellow stout, not too much roast nor too much sweetness, drinkable and tasty.
2013-04-05
Lots of dried fruit in the nose, some raisin, some stone fruit. Some booze on the palate, along with more fruit, some vanilla, and a little cocoa. Good, but could definitely use time to settle. Bottle 344.
Drank 12 oz of 120 Minute IPA by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (2013)December 5th, 2014
2014-12-05
Delicious, surprising bitterness backing up the malt, has held up superbly. Digging it.
Drank 500 ml of Terra Locale: Take Take by Wicked Weed (2014)December 2nd, 2014
2014-12-02
Super mellow, a bit of funk, a bit of malt, a lot of grain, and very sippable. Another tasty bottle from Wicked Weed, though probably not as good as the other two I had back in North Carolina.
Drank 12 oz of Surette Provision Saison by Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (2013)December 1st, 2014
2014-12-01
Great funk in the nose, nice and balanced on the palate, with some funk, some nice sweetness, and a farmhousey finish.
