2019-12-08 8 year vertical
2017-11-26 Sadly not as good as 2016, which was not as good as 2015. This has an odd flavor profile and nose. Hoping my other bottles are better.

2019-11-07 Coffee is still there in a big way from the nose, the back of the tongue and aftertaste. Still quite hot as well. Sad that it's the last one I have.

2019-10-27 Something’s not quite right about this one. Not infected, but it’s like all the malt dropped out and all that’s left is the booze. Weird...
2018-11-09 Still great after 3 years. Better than 2016/2017. More molasses; newer ones are thinner.
2018-01-22 Tasting great after 2 years of aging. Happy Birthday to me!
2016-12-01 Really great aged even only 1 year.
Drank 12 oz of Pump[KY]n by Avery Brewing Company (2014-09-12) | October 20th, 2019 |
2021-01-17 Getting way more pumpkin in this than when it was fresh, which is crazy. Definitely showing it’s age, but not in a bad way.
2019-10-20 Very boozy. Lots of sediment firmly suspended. Sweeter than I remember.
2017-11-19 Stood up very well after 3 years.

Drank 12 oz of Black Forest by Alewerks Brewing Company (2019-06-24) | October 1st, 2019 |
2019-10-01 Lots of chocolate and cherries. Very dark. Interesting. The chocolate lingers on the back of the tongue.
Drank 12 oz of Bourbon County Brand Barleywine (2013) by Goose Island Beer Co. (2013-09-24) | September 29th, 2019 |

2019-09-29 Still tastes amazing after all these years. Wow!
2018-02-04 Held up extremely well still very boozy, great flavor and unlike 2015+ BCS, not thin.
2017-04-06 Amazing. Tastes almost like the regular from those days, but smoother. Wish I bought the last one on the shelf too!
Drank 16 oz of Churro For Sure Oh by Finback Brewery (2019-08-29) | September 27th, 2019 |
2019-09-27 Nice mouthfeel. Initial flavor is intense and yummy with lots of cinnamon. The finish isn’t great and gets very sweet.
Drank 16 oz of This Beer Rhymes with Orange by Carton Brewing Company (2019-01-17) | September 26th, 2019 |
2019-09-26 little too grapefruit bitter on the finish, but otherwise quite good.
Drank 12 oz of KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) by Founders Brewing (2018-02-26) | September 7th, 2019 |
2020-05-05 This hasn’t lost much of anything, save a little vanilla.
2020-04-12 Don’t taste any coffee on this one any longer. The 2019 I had earlier was much better.
2018-03-30 Good this year, though I’m less tolerant each year of the bitterness. If they reduced that, it would likely still be in my top 5.
Drank 12 oz of Callipygian by Avery Brewing Company (2016-04-25) | September 5th, 2019 |
2016-11-01 Very unique. Raisiny sweetness, toasty chocolatey maltiness, very boozy, intense flavor...interesting. Only negative is slight bitterness. |
