This hasn’t lost much of anything, save a little vanilla.

Don’t taste any coffee on this one any longer. The 2019 I had earlier was much better.

Good this year, though I’m less tolerant each year of the bitterness. If they reduced that, it would likely still be in my top 5.

Lots of chocolate. Cherry is subtle. On the thin side, but good flavor.

This is really holding up very well. Lots of barrel, smooth/silky mouthfeel, and lots of chocolate and roasted malt.

Really good, smooth, boozy, rich and roasty.

Great fresh.

Too much bitterness for my liking and no juicy qualities.

I get everything in the description, the barrel, Toasted Coconut, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Milk Sugar. I also get some dark chocolate. It’s a bit thinner than you’d expect, but it’s very interesting in a good way.

Strange aroma and flavor. Soapy and lemony.

This is #3, chocolate maple stout. Very sweet. Not getting any chocolate, but maple is coming through. Very velvety.

Nice flavor up front, but the sweetness fades into bitterness. Very thin. Wouldn’t buy again.

The only thing that says porter to me is that it’s thin. Besides that, it’s got many things I love in a barrel aged stout. While I like Underground Mountain Brown better (as a BA stout alt), this is one of the best porters I’ve had.

Bold, dark chocolate with subtle hint of the peanuts. Plenty of body, not thin.

Good, but nothing special. Not too bitter, decent flavor profile, but not my favorite.

Very weird on the nose. Thankfully it tastes much better. Strong pineapple on the nose and chunky out of the bottle, but subtle pineapple taste. Thick and bold as I’ve come to expect from Finback BA stouts. Add flavor profile is similar to Goose I BC.

Love the thickness/viscosity of the Finback BA stouts. World class. Tons of coffee, very sweet.

A bit sweeter than I expected and more coffee on the nose than the palate. Super thick and yummy.

This is in my opinion one of the best beers you can buy. I’m thankful to have been lucky enough to get a few bottles and am happy to say that this one has held up well, is not infected, and is the world class beer I remember when I first had it. Cheers! This is to celebrate paying off our mortgage!

Not infected and held up amazingly well. No noticeable drop off in flavor since the last time I had one.

Absolutely fantastic. Will definitely try to get more of this and age it. Very boozy but enjoyable. Sweet, smooth bourbon flavor really comes out nicely.

This is really tasty. Not a ton of barrel up front, but lots of cocoa, dark malt, and a hint of sweetness, & a hint of the toasted almonds. The heat from the bourbon barrel comes in at the end and lingers nicely. Another really enjoyable beer by Prairie.
