2019-07-10 Has some really nice caramely notes and the barrel is about as well integrated as you could hope but... this style just isn't a good candidate for barrel aging. Fun, but not a banger. | |

2019-03-09 Has mellowed out a bit. Not sure how much character this will develop. Didn't overly impress me from the start so it's probably not my bag. Cran-bic, Enigma, Oud Bruin, Wild Sour, those are worth the space. This is refreshing. Goes well with trout. Probably won't buy again. Not because it's bad but there is great stuff out there and available. | |
2019-02-03 Wish it were maltier, I guess that would be an Oud Bruin. Should develop some nice funk so I'll be patient with the other bottles. | |

2019-03-09 Astonishingly smooth for the excessive abv and my previous experience with Uncle Jacob. This was really good. Worth waiting three years for? Naw. There's other stuff out there, man. Also pricey. Simply other options available. | |

2019-03-08 Has the flavor to match the alcohol content. Smells like coffee and booze. Tastes like intense coffee stout. Fusel comes across more as it warms. Better than I expected but it's still expensive in both price and alcohol content (17.1%). | |
