Drank 22 oz of Lupine by Pipeworks Brewing CompanyMay 26th, 2016

I didn't get pineapple this time but still a delightfully refreshing IPA. Not a palate wrecker like the Fish series.

Pineapple, pineapple, pineapple! Straw colored, sweet smell, juicy pineapple flavor. Glad I have two.
Drank 750 ml of Squall IPA by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (2016-02-24)May 25th, 2016

So balanced. Reminds me a lot of Avery's Maharaja, though not quite as much of a hop bomb. Very balanced, not particularly bitter. Lost of dregs in the last pour of the 750.

Not nearly as bitter when drunk from my IPA glass. Amazing how much that changes the flavor. Not sure how they bill this as a Pale Ale instead of an IPA, though.
Drank 12 oz of Cassian Sunset by Central Waters Brewing Company (2016-04-05)May 23rd, 2016

Cinnamon and chocolate at cellar temp, not as smooth as I'd like, has a bit of a bite but very tasty. Bourbon rounded out the edges with some booze and really present in the aroma. I forgot this hat coffee in it until it warmed up and the coffee bitterness came out.
2016-05-23
Smells like hot chocolate at cellar temp. Vanilla and cinnamon come through as it warms.
2016-04-19
Unexpectedly thin mouthfeel. Tastes like ice cream at about 50 degrees. Changes tremendously as it warms. Cinnamon really comes to the fore. Not a strong bourbon presence and the coffee is pretty subtle, other than giving some bitterness at the end.

Drank 22 oz of Funzino by Pipeworks Brewing CompanyMay 21st, 2016

I've never regretted buying a Pipeworks IPA. This isn't among my favorite IPAs but it's still really delicious. All the Ninjas are going to be fresh, too.

Dank and resinous. So bold and fresh, but not my favorite. Strong floral aromas not much citrus.
Drank 12 oz of Enjoy By 05.30.16 Tangerine IPA by Stone Brewing (2016-04-24)May 20th, 2016

I think it may not have been fully chilled last night. Lot's of fresh hops. Still not as bitter as I like but it's really drinkable.
2016-05-05
Not as potent as I expected. 9.4% drinks like 7%. Surprisingly subtle which isn't what I want for a $15 6-pack. Hit me in the face with those hops, please. I need to try the regular. I'd rather have the Ruination.

Drank 12 oz of Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Scotch Ale by Central Waters Brewing Company (2015-08-06)May 19th, 2016

Held up remarkably well, much better than the 2016 I opened the same night. Rich malty depth and retains more barrel than bourbon. Still, it showed its age, not a beer that needs cellaring. Sad to see CW let this one go.
2017-07-18
I like it chilled a bit, now, but not 44 degrees or anything. As good as it gets for me.
2016-08-27
The best.
2016-05-19
This is just my favorite beer. So rich and sweet, but not alcohol sweet. Smooth and delicious.
2016-05-04
Bourbon had faded significantly after 9 months. It's still there but more in the background. It's smoother overall but I really liked the big bourbon presence.
Drank 25 oz of Serendipity by New Glarus Brewing CompanyMay 19th, 2016
2018-01-31
Very heavy on the apple from the Teku glass.
2016-05-19
Blows me away, every time. The wrong food pairing can wreck this beer, though. First glass was amazing. After a salad with vinegar mustard dressing, all I could taste was the apples and a little cherry tart and cranberry sour.
