Agree with previous assessment. Very fine, unhyped beer & brewery.

Drank at cellar temp without cooling it at all, really sweet. Rich dried apricot sweetness, almost a port. No heat, very smooth.

Very good classic barleywine. Has a bite at cooler temps so let it warm a bit. Great buy at 3 years old.

It's been a long time since I enjoyed a lager this much. It's easy to get caught up in the more intense, higher abv stuff but there's still a place for any well-made beer.

Unfortunately this one had turned pretty far, I didn't want any more after the first sip. Parents still thought it was good until I opened the 2015, which had fared much better.

This held up incredibly well. Past its prime but still delicious. This is the best scotch ale.

About as good as scotch ale gets without spending time in a bourbon barrel. Probably better than Scotty Karate.

Not sure about this experiment of aging Rasputin. Doesn't seem to gain anything from the time, definitely loses something. Kind of just tastes like cold Postum right now. Shouldn't be surprising, considering the ingredients of each brew. Also reminds me of old Guinness Extra Stout. Two beers that shouldn't be aged, apparently. One bottle left, will see if anything changes.

Held up remarkably well, much better than the 2016 I opened the same night. Rich malty depth and retains more barrel than bourbon. Still, it showed its age, not a beer that needs cellaring. Sad to see CW let this one go.

Bourbon had faded significantly after 9 months. It's still there but more in the background. It's smoother overall but I really liked the big bourbon presence.

Extremely carbonated, otherwise a refreshing straightforward saison.
