2013-09-16 Haven't had it for a while, but, delicious!
Drank 375 ml of Consecration by Russian River Brewing Company (2013-01-13) | September 16th, 2013 |
2013-09-16 Also delicious; what did you expect?
Drank 750 ml of Peche 'n Brett by Logsdon Farmhouse Ales (2013) | September 14th, 2013 |
2014-03-08 Great brett character, still some nice peach, such a nice peach sour even after a year.
2013-09-14 Great beer, big brett presence with mild peach fruitiness. Would have liked a bit more peach, but still an awesome brew, the house Logsdon bugs are very recognizable.
Drank 750 ml of Serendipity by New Glarus Brewing Company (2013) | September 14th, 2013 |
2014-08-12 Extremely delicious as always, fruit soda as a beer, great apple presence, do want more.
2013-11-02 Still delicious, like a Hansen's fruit soda with alcohol added, perfect fruity blend.
2013-09-14 Delicious, just like Raspberry Tart except with a different fruit profile, light and soda-like in its drinkability. Wish we had this out here!
Drank 750 ml of Shipyard Bourbon Barrel Aged Double ESB by Shipyard Brewing Co. (2012) | September 13th, 2013 |
2013-09-13 Much better than last time, the time to settle helped. Still big but pretty good.
2013-04-09 Intense malt in the nose, smells heavy, lots of booze, bourbon, and malt on the palate. Biiiig beer, really needs to settle down, I'd give this another year minimum.
Drank 375 ml of Consecration by Russian River Brewing Company (2013-01-31) | September 12th, 2013 |
2013-09-12 Delicious, tartness up front fades into great fruit and vinous characteristics. So glad this is shelf beer for us!
Drank 375 ml of Temptation by Russian River Brewing Company (2013-05-30) | September 12th, 2013 |
2014-05-25 Effectively perfect. Great beer.
2013-08-11 Delicious, as always.
Drank 330 ml of Trappist Westvleteren 12 by Brouwerij Westvleteren (2013) | September 11th, 2013 |
2014-03-07 Malt and yeast in the nose, sweet on the palate, Belgian in character, quite good. Oh man the hype though.
2013-09-11 Sweet nose, candi sugar, molasses, and some cloying on the palate, along with a healthy, frothy head. Delicious, as expected.
Drank 16 oz of Pliny the Elder by Russian River Brewing Company (2013-09-03) | September 11th, 2013 |
Drank 330 ml of Ola Dubh Special Reserve 30 by Harviestoun Brewery (2007-09) | September 10th, 2013 |
2013-09-10 More interesting than I remember, but still just good, not great. A little too smooth.
2013-08-16 Thin mouthfeel and really mild, but tasty!
Drank 750 ml of Apricot Ale by Cascade Brewing (2012) | September 9th, 2013 |
2015-07-19 Just a hint of fruit, and lots of tart. Quite good.
2013-09-09 Definitely less fruit than the fresh bottling, but still delicious. Digging it.
Drank 750 ml of Gift of the Magi by The Lost Abbey (2009) | September 8th, 2013 |
2013-09-08 Interesting combination of brett, booze, and malt (perhaps unsurprising given the ABV). Brett is more there at the finish, followed quickly by the other aspects. Not bad.
Drank 22 oz of Jubel 2010 (Once A Decade Ale) by Deschutes Brewery (2010) | September 8th, 2013 |
2013-09-08 Not much in the nose, some grain perhaps. Grain and mild alcohol up front, which gives way to light sweetness. Not bad, but not great. A beer like Adam does a much better job of this style.
Drank 750 ml of Riserva by Weyerbacher Brewing Company (2012) | September 8th, 2013 |
2013-09-08 Not bad, but the raspberry is a bit "cheap" tasting. Good tartness, but the raspberries taste almost artificial. Good, but wouldn't seek out again.
Drank 650 ml of Double Double Barrel Ale by Firestone Walker Brewing Co. (2013) | September 7th, 2013 |
2013-09-07 Smoooooth. Tiniest bit of alcohol heat on the finish, tons of toffee and molasses, along with a hint of vanilla, on the palate. Delicious, much better than I remember the 2012 being. |
