Lots of hazelnut flavor with a fair bit of sweetness from the caramel. Thoroughly coats the palate and is nice and think. Finishes with some chocolate and a hint of the barrel. Really enjoyable.

Lots of sweetness; almost too much. A hint of dark chocolate. Not getting much else flavor-wise. Perhaps when it warms, there will be more.

Tasting more chocolate than I remember, along with the coconut and pineapple.

Still love this year’s Prop. The coconut blended with the pineapple just works and neither is overbearing. Plenty of dark chocolate comes shining through and the finish brings back the coconut and pineapple.

So yummy when it warms up a bit, when the coconut comes out. The pineapple is subtle, as is the lime. At Prop Day, I tasted banana, but not getting much of that from the bottle.

Holding up very well. Bourbon, vanilla and coconut sweetness, followed by barrel, dark chocolate and roasted malt.

Not gettin much coconut, if any but the bourbon and roasted malt comes through and is boozy and full flavored.

Really damn good. Tons of dark chocolate (slightly too bitter), nice smooth coconut & subtle vanilla finish, topped off with bourbon warmth.

This is the 3rd time I’ve had this and it’s been amazing every time. Lots of toffee and typical barleywine sweetness, but with more depth and lots of booziness. Can’t wait to taste this after a few years of aging.

Just as good as I remember on Prop Day. Can’t wait to see what a few years will do to it.

One of the best Barleywines I’ve had. This one is from January 2020 and is 12.5% ABV. Boozy, sweet, and has depth.

Held up well. Wish I could find more of these.

Very sweet, banana, cinnamon.

Raisiny, soft, rich.

Very thin, strange aroma and flavor. Not something I’d get again.

Perhaps it’s what I ate but this tastes like caramel. So good. I know it’s the base, but it tastes different in a good way. There’s a sweetness that I’m not used to tasting, followed by the familiar flavors. Really enjoying it so far.

A little too bitter for more than a few sips.

Still lots of strawberry. Subtle sweetness and chocolate. Held up well.

Lots of strawberry on the nose. Subtle coconut flavor with a slight tartness from the strawberry. Also getting rich dark chocolate flavors along with the barrel. Much thinner mouthfeel than I expected, but you’re still left with stickiness at the end.

Banana bomb! Once the banana subsides, some sweet but dark chocolate comes in and then the banana comes back subtly, with a bit of barrel on the finish. Very enjoyable, not overly sweet, and signature OH stout velvety thickness, without being heavy.

This has really great flavor and it’s soft and light.
