First off, they should call this "Tough to get out of the Bottle". 375 mL bottle was dipped in purple wax, underneath was a crown cap, take that off and you’re staring at a low quality cork made for a bottle twice its size. The cork split on removal and I ended up rotating the remaining bit in the neck to pour the beer with minimal cork bits. This had better be good! Pours dark raisin brown with a lighter brown head. Aroma has molasses, vanilla, oatmeal raisin cookie. Flavor follows nose, plenty of alcohol warmth, some oak and char on the finish. This was worth the effort, a nice BA Impy.
