3.7 Bottle dated February 11, 2014, consumed March 4th. Pours cloudy orange gold with a huge pale white head that clings to the glass. Aroma is tangerine, candied orange, melon. Has a thin malt backbone and orange peel and honeydew melon hop flavor. Drinks easy, finishes with grassy bitterness.

4.1 Tiny bottle from a fancy black box. Pours deep dark brown with a medium brown head that just rings the glass. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, soy, dark fruit. Flavor starts with dark chocolate, coffee. Center is date, more coffee bitterness. Finish adds nuttiness, more dark chocolate. Warm and tasty.

3.7 Bottle from trade with umich03jm. Thanks, Jason! Pours medium amber with a big clingy white head. Aroma is wildflowers, fresh cut grass. Taste is dominated by grassy hop bitterness, some wheat and floral hop hiding in there too. Grassy hop bitterness in the finish coats the tongue.

4.0 Bottle from Jimsal27, thanks Jimmy! Pours black like coffee with a coffee icecream beige head. Aroma is chocolate, hazlenut, roast. Flavor follows nose, caramel malts, dark chocolate, a bit of nuttiness, just a touch of smoke in the finish.

4.4 Bottle from batch 89 thanks to GT2. Pours thick dark brown with a nice sticky white head that coats the glass. This beer smells amazing. Molasses, dark cherries, raisins, cocoa. Taste is a lot like it smells, this is very smooth, with raisin and molasses up front, a bit of dark cherry in the middle and chocolate bitterness in the finish. Excellent!

4.0 Bottle from trade. Pours a slightly murky amber brown with a scant off white head. Smells like pumpkin bread there’s cinnamon, nutmeg, molasses, candied sugar. Taste follows nose, this is good homemade pumpkin bread in a glass.

3.7 Bottle. Pours bright orange gold with a big white head that lingers and clings to the glass. Aroma has peach, citrus, grass. Flavor follows nose, backbone is caramel malts, hops are peachy, citrusy, finish is grass bitterness and a touch of spice. Not bad, but the flavor in the finish takes this down a notch.

3.9 Bottle from trade with DrFabulous, thanks Jeff! Pours yellow gold nearly as light as some other St Louis brews, with a big white lacy head. Juicy aroma of orange, grapefruit and pineapple. Light malt with juicy orange and grapefruit hop. Some pine and grapefruit peel bitterness on the finish.
