S - Surprising and interesting sour tart smell
T - a bit different than the nose, little tartness, very mild - too mild in flavor for me
M - a bit thin
O - very light overall especially for a BA beer or even a scotch ale - a little disappointing

A - Sweet fruity aroma
T - Sweet, as smooth as it gets, with a sweet fruit taste, dried fruits and fresh fruit mix (grape)
M - Nice, smooth

T - Same dark and stone fruit with a nice boozy flavor, with no alcohol burn
M - nice fairly chewy

S - Sweet, dark fruit and chocolate.
T - Absolutely delicious. Very sweet, one of the sweetest beers I've had, but complex. Lots of sweet dark fruit, with the chocolate and coffee flavor of a very good stout.
M - Thick and smooth, very nice.
O - Excellent. BSDA are my favorite, and this probably jumped into my top five beers. If you like big sweet beers, I'd highly recommend it. |
