Drank 375 ml of Angel's Share - Oak Barrel Aged by The Lost Abbey (2015)February 13th, 2016
2016-02-13
look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25 A - dark leather, nice head S - oak, bourbon, dark fruit, even some chocolate T - bourbon forward, dark fruit M - nice, some thickness O - good BBA beer, bourbon a bit too dominate to let more other flavor come through, though. I think aging a bit might have made this even better.

Drank 12 oz of Pilgrim's Dole by New Holland Brewing Company (2014)January 30th, 2016
2016-12-04
Good/Bad. Smell was tremendous - sweet barleywine, but taste had some off/cardboard?/oxidized flavor? Maybe 4+
2016-01-30
2014 Vintage A- Really nice reddish color, very unique S- Smell dominated by bourbon T- Carmely sweet balanced by still strong bourbon finish, and this has been aged a year since purchase O- Good but still a bit hot. The BB flavor still overpowers the malty sweet flavors. I'll age the other bottle I have for a while longer.

2018-06-27
3 y.o by year, 4.5 excellent, super sweet and sticky
2018-03-26
5 y.o. 2013 4.1 not as good as fresher versions I've had. Was (on shelf) at Sonoma Cellars for 2.5 years, so maybe light or heat was the issue
2018-03-04

2017-05-27
4.25 very sweet - not at all hot, but packs a punch!
2017-03-11

2015-12-26
2013 vintage so 2-3 years old 4.83 look: 4 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 5A - Very dark brown/black, head dissipates quickly. S - Sweet, dark fruit and chocolate. T - Absolutely delicious. Very sweet, one of the sweetest beers I've had, but complex. Lots of sweet dark fruit, with the chocolate and coffee flavor of a very good stout. M - Thick and smooth, very nice. O - Excellent. BSDA are my favorite, and this probably jumped into my top five beers. If you like big sweet beers, I'd highly recommend it.
