2 years <4.0 smokey/sour flavor (not good for me)

Mini vert 18 months vs. 12 months. Both around 4.0. 12 month was better as the 18 month had a little smokey flavor. Both very smooth, no alcohol bite and only very slight bitterness. But not a lot of complexity or other good flavors either - not a lot of chocolate or brunt sugar sweetness.

Definitely losing taste - less flavorful and more bitterness coming through.

I think it is dropping off. Some bitterness which is surprising - that should dissipate. Maybe the lessening coffee is allowing that to come through.

Maybe could age, but very smooth fresh. The flavor reminds me of Gulden Draak (one of my very favorites).

I think this will also improve as the vinous sherry/port flavors come out more with aging (which I plan to do with my other bottle).
