5 yo 4.3 starting to go down hill - was a bought recently from a store

Mini vert 18 months vs. 12 months. Both around 4.0. 12 month was better as the 18 month had a little smokey flavor. Both very smooth, no alcohol bite and only very slight bitterness. But not a lot of complexity or other good flavors either - not a lot of chocolate or brunt sugar sweetness.

2 yo 4.1 good but a little funky

1 yo 4.0 good not great - some sour flavor

7 mo. 3.8 sour taste for some reason???

4.5 really good - burnt sugar roastiness

fresh 4.3 very good, some heat but lots of flavors - barrel, vanilla and IS maltiness

Maybe could age, but very smooth fresh. The flavor reminds me of Gulden Draak (one of my very favorites).

2015 vintage, 22 months old. 4.6 Excellent Barrel Aged English Barleywine. Sweet, complex, and smooth. One of the best of this style I've had (and this is my favorite style).
