I missed recording a bottle of this somewhere.
Drank 12 oz of Wisconsin Belgian Red by New Glarus Brewing CompanyFebruary 3rd, 2020

Works as a float but doesn't completely mesh with the vanilla custard.
Drank 16 oz of Close Encounter Black IPA by Pipeworks Brewing Company (2020-01-22)February 3rd, 2020

Drank 12 oz of 120 Minute IPA by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery (2016-04-08)February 1st, 2020

Better than the last one but I completely regret going in on this so many times.
2020-01-26
Very different this time. Raisiny and weirdly sweet. Same over-the-top hop character, didn't meld with the malt sweetness. I'm still regretting how many of these I bought but this one is not good. Others had some redeeming qualities.
2018-03-21
I noticed the viscosity, as much as anything else, this time. One participant compared it to whiskey. Intense and sweet. The original palate wrecker. Not an IPA by modern standards, not quite a barleywine, just a smooth hoppy strong ale. I might let it age one more year before opening another.

Drank 12 oz of Sticky McDoogle by Ale Asylum (2019-12-11)January 31st, 2020
Drank 12 oz of Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Scotch Ale by Central Waters Brewing Company (2017-07-18)January 28th, 2020

Holds up well but doesn't particularly benefit from ageing. Tastes the same as the 2018, which is to say excellent.
2017-12-10
Unknown date of consumption. Forgot to record an entry somewhere.

Different than any previous year I remember. Smells like straight up whiskey, tastes like burnt caramel. It's not unpleasant but doesn't have the malty sweet richness I love. It's fresh, though. Needs some time to settle.
Drank 12 oz of Ten Fidy - Bourbon Barrel-Aged by Oskar Blues Brewery (2019-12-16)January 27th, 2020

Very heavy on the apple from the Teku glass.
2016-05-19
Blows me away, every time. The wrong food pairing can wreck this beer, though. First glass was amazing. After a salad with vinegar mustard dressing, all I could taste was the apples and a little cherry tart and cranberry sour.
Drank 12 oz of CBS (Canadian Breakfast Stout) by Founders Brewing (2019-09-25)January 23rd, 2020

When fully chilled, coffee is bitter and maple syrup is barely present. Let it warm a little and it all integrates much better.

Drank 12 oz of Straight Jacket by Revolution Brewing LLC (2019-10-31)January 21st, 2020

The 2018 was my favorite, this can really hit the spot, though.
2020-10-28
Thick at the bottom of the glass, and more maple syrupy than I remember. I hope the 2020 is more like the 2018, though.
Drank 275 ml of Harvest Ale 2001 by JW Lees and Co. (Brewers) Ltd. (2001)January 20th, 2020

This bottle maybe not as perfect but still an amazing feat to put out a beer that's still good after 19 years. Prune, date, molasses, burnt caramel. More oxidation this time.

Phenomenal. Incredibly sweet. Like raisin juice, but delicious. Barely carbonated. Smells amazing, too. As soon as I opened the bottle I got hit with waves of sweet sticky aroma. Very expensive but easier to justify the price.
