Drank 375 ml of Oude Gueuze by Het Boerenerf Eylenbosch (2023-03-17) | April 17th, 2025 |
2025-04-17 first beer from Boerenerf. A healthy dose of funk in their gueuze, just the way I like it. On the harder/tarter end of mouthfeel and flavor spectrum. Will grab some more from them.
Drank 375 ml of Faro by Brouwerij Timmermans-John Martin N.V. (2022-09-06) | April 14th, 2025 |
2025-04-14 The added sugar makes for a weird taste combined with the lambic body. Sort of reminds me of Bosteel's biere brut. Definitely couldn't have more than one in a sitting, but I might enjoy it in the right setting.

2024-10-11 This young bottle pours hazy gold and gives a pronounced funk on the nose. The funk note is really satisfyingly foregrounded in the taste. Classic green apple and prune don't show up as strong, which gives an interesting lactic tart in combination with the funk. Super effervescent and mineral feel. |
