alcohol hits first, not your typical barley wine ale, lacks any sweetness, lots of carbonation, ok but would not seek out again.

the flavors have combined nicely, still not the mouth feel I like, but glad I had the opportunity to drink this, sweet up front, bitter on the back end. good combination.

mellowed nicely with age. mouth feel is still a bit thin, but flavor is fantastic.

well worth it

great mouth feel, slightly thick, good amount of carbonation, laced on inside of glass, good balance between sweet and bitter, cloudy amber color. will definitely seek out again!
