Drank 22 oz of Wake-n-Bake Cinnamon Roll'd by Terrapin Beer Company (2013)January 14th, 2014

This beer really reminded me of sitting down with a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll. VERY well done and a VERY tasty beer! All of the flavor with no alcohol heat despite the high ABV.
Drank 22 oz of Proprietor's Bourbon County Brand Stout by Goose Island Beer Co. (2013)January 7th, 2014

Amazing Beer!! Good Bourbon Notes with a good stout backbone. Coconut finish was pleasant with a mild nuttyness that really complimented this beer. First couple of pour contained small flakes of coconut in them. Amazing beer!
Drank 22 oz of Abraxas with Sump coffee by Perennial Artisan Ales (2013)December 31st, 2013

There had been rumors of an infection in this beer... and there were something slightly off with it. The coffee flavor had dropped out quite a bit as well. Still very good, but not as good as fresh.

AMAZING Beer! Sweet, with cinnamon forward flavor, no noticable alcohol warmth. The cocoa and chiles provided a nice backbone, while the coffee seemed to just bring it all together. The coffee nose is bigger than the taste. A VERY well ballanced beer. Will have to move up into my top 2 beers of ALL TIME!! WOW
Drank 22 oz of Bean Gene Porter by Revolution Brewing LLC (2013)December 31st, 2013

I had tried this beer at a bottle share and wasn't impressed. That changed with this tasting. The coffee was prominent, melding with the roastyness of the stout. A medium body/mouthfeel. This was a very enjoyable beer!
Drank 22 oz of Punishment by Stone Brewing (2013)December 31st, 2013
2013-12-31
WOW, what a beer. The two of us only had.. MAYBE a 1/2 ounce each. This beer is ALL heat in the taste and the nose. I couldn't get past the heat to sense any real flavor. This is exactly what I expected. Saved the rest of the bottle to make some wing sauce.
Drank 22 oz of Tart of Darkness by The Bruery (2013)December 26th, 2013
2014-03-29
Not as sour as the last bottle.... but this is an AMAZING SOUR BEER!
2013-12-26
AMAZINGLY Tart... by far the tartest beer I've ever tried. Medium body/mouthfeel, and lots of good flavors in the background.. AMAZING BEER!
Drank 16 oz of The Beer That Saved Christmas by Prairie Artisan Ales (2013)December 26th, 2013
2013-12-26
Very Yummy. Nice alchol warmth, light holiday spice that didn't get in the way of the rest of the beer. VERY dark in color, but the mouthfeel wasn't to thick. This was a great beer!
Drank 12 oz of Trappist Westvleteren 12 by Brouwerij Westvleteren (2012)December 25th, 2013

This beer gets better every time I try one. This one is about a year old, and the dark fruit flavors and sweetness have melded into an AMAZINGLY balanced beer!!
