A very pale yellow colour, almost clear in the light, with a 3 finger, champagne like head that dissipates fairly quickly. Some carbonation can be seen streaming from the bottom of the glass. The aroma comes off as a sharp, orange citrus, a hint of clove and strong smell of gooseberry. Very complex, with a mild medicinal note, grape and pear. The taste comes off as a sparkling chenin blanc, slightly dry, but also a mild bitterness. Grape, pear and fuji apple stand out. The sediment in the bottle seems to mellow the carbonation and give the give the beer a more hazy colour. A light and effervescent ale, looking forward to trying an aged version.

2 and a half finger pink head that dissipates quickly, sits atop a dark burgundy colour, with lots of carb streaming up. The lacing left is light and patchy. The aroma is of corked red wine, sour cherry and farmyard manure. Kind of dank and a slight woody smell as well. The taste is VERY tart and sour. Under ripe cherry and some acidic bitterness, with a sweetness that lingers on the lips. Medium body with a long finish, very interesting beer.

Hazy brown almost swampy look with a 2 finger dirty white head that dissipates rather quickly. Some carbonation can be seen streaming from the top of the glass. A nice sweet berry aroma, mainly cherry, as well as some fruity apricot and banana smells. Very sweet malts that open up to a darker sweetness of candied prunes. A sweet dark taste of prunes figs and dates, and some bubbly carbonation that jumps off the front of the tongue, then disappears, leaving a warming sensation on the back of the throat. A very mild bitterness, and a little sticky on the lips. Drank outside at 8:30 pm on August the 12th, and the beer is keeping me nice and toasty.medium bodied with a delicious long finish.
