2014-12-25 Appearance is just transparent dark brown. Very little head, carbonation on mouth only, none evident in glass. Nose is deep with chocolate and coffee. Notes of soy sauce. Mouthful is very dry and light. Tastes of coffee and burnt bread toast. Bitter coaco. finished very long and dry. Coco, coffee and burnt grapefruit on long finish. Very very good. Drank on Xmas with family, shared with Kenlyn. | |

2014-06-13 Bottle date of 2012. Carbination is very light out of 45 degree bottle. Clear light copper yellow. Maybe has aged poorly (I think I kept this in a fridge for a year+). Still a great beer. Bourbon is present on nose very slightly. VERY smooth. | |
